Safe Church Online Module
Welcome to the BCWA Safe Church Training!
This online course will take about one and a half hours to complete. Senior Church Leaders should allow a further 30 minutes to complete the optional but strongly encouraged lesson ‘Leaders Module’. Both online courses can be completed over multiple sittings and will save your work to date.
Content Note: Please note that this training addresses sensitive issues including abuse, domestic violence and grooming. While none of the material is explicit in nature, this content may cause distress to some participants, so we encourage you to consider your own wellbeing as you work through this material. Pause as needed, take a moment and access appropriate pastoral care or your support networks as needed.
Practical Notes: Please ensure that you click on all the “Marked Complete” buttons at the bottom of each lesson and topic so the system can remember your progress. This includes Lesson 5 for church leaders, even if you are opting not to complete this lesson.
